Job Description

CHC Nurse Assessor (Remote Opportunity)Eden Brown Synergy are actively recruiting for a number of experienced CHC Nurse Assessors for remote opportunities we have available on a full or part time basis!You must be a Registered General Nurse with experience in the Continuing Healthcare space as well as having up-to-date and relevant knowledge of NHS CHC Framework.As a CHC Nurse Assessor, you will be responsible for:

  • Writing clear recommendations/reports regarding a patients eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
  • Conduct meetings with families and patients to review CHC and FNC eligibility.
  • Arrange and actively participate in CHC assessments with other members of the MDT and type up reports for panel and work in collaboration with the Local Authorities.
  • Conduct reviews on a 3 monthly and yearly basis as well as write reports around findings.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
  • Have highly developed written skills.
  • Have highly developed verbal communication skills as you will be required to explain complex and often contentious/sensitive information including the outcomes of NHS continuing healthcare assessments and future care needs for patients.
