Ceded Reinsurance Technician: London (Remote) Our client a company leading the business process management industry with a combination of technology knowledge, analytics, and a drive to create innovative, digital-led transformational solutions is looking for a Ceded Reinsurance Technician. You as the CededReinsurance Technician will be working on a massive project that runs the department of the Reinsurance team. The level of experience of the Ceded Reinsurance Technician is flexible, but outward reinsurance experience would be required. As the Ceded Reinsurance Technician, you will need to have a good understanding of reinsurance processing platform with the ability to produce manual technicals if required for both premium and claims. You as the Ceded Reinsurance Technician will be workingon ceding processes from an inwards/outwards perspective. The Ceded Reinsurance Technician also needs to have a good understanding of downstream financial impact and processes which includes ledger, aged debt, credit control, payment request, reporting. As the Ceded Reinsurance Technician, you will also be required to have a good working knowledge or understanding of Facultative; Treaty; and XOL contracts which also includes proportional, non-proportional, multi class. The Ceded Reinsurance Technician willneed an understanding of operational aspects of recoveries and collateralised funding. Finally, you as the Ceded Reinsurance Technician, will be required to undertake in Solvency II and regulatory reporting requirements. Requirements: * Min of 3-10 years of experience as a Ceded Reinsurance Technician * Work experience/understanding in the following: o Outward Reinsurance and Inwards o Reinsurance processing platform: premiums and claims o Financial impact and processes: ledger, aged debt, credit control, payment request, reporting. o Facultative; Treaty; and XOL contracts: proportional, non-proportional, multi class o Solvency II and regulatory reporting requirements. o Collateralised Funding * Beneficial: o Reconciliation Processes.
