Job Description

BardWood Support Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a CCTV operative, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will need to possess traditional values of good customer service and control room experience whilst fully utilisingmodern technology and is committed and proactive.About the roleTitle: CCTV operativePay Rate: £12.80/hour.Location: WC2H 0HEShift Timings: Working 4 on 4 off (days and nights), 12-hour shiftsYou will be working in a well-known corporate site, which deals with very prestige clientele. Operatives are responsible to cover the core security team by providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.Your main responsibilities may include:

  • To cover the core security team.
  • Carrying out operating tasks related to CCTV systems, such as monitoring footage and recording footage.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of a CCTV system. This may include reviewing footage for potential violations and to ensure safety of the public.
  • Monitoring footage to detect crime and incidents.
  • Operating and managing the CCTV system. This position will be responsible for responding to emergency alarms, maintaining logs, and monitoring video footage.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
  • SIA badge - CCTV essential
  • 5-year checkable work/career history.
  • Experience in a similar role, would add as an advantage.
  • Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Flexibility with Overtime
  • High level of concentration and observation.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
