Your New Job Title: Category Manager - FacilitiesYour New Daily rate: up to £279 PAYE or £365 umbrella (inside IR35) * equivalent of up to £72k per annumDuration: Long term temporary assignment until 01/10/2021Location: West London/Home WorkingStart date: ASAPWorking hours: 37.5 hoursJob posting ID: JP86594Who youll be working for:Our client a Major FTSE100 of ours who have fantastic offices are looking for a Category Manager - Facilities.What youll be doing each day:Reporting to the Senior Director - FC&L Procurement, the role will be responsible for ensuring optimal supply terms and conditions for third-party provided facility management services used at the companys sites and surrounding regions.Responsibilities include managing all procurement contracts in the relevant categories, supporting the sourcing process for OPEX FC&L categories (e.g. facilities management services), leading the implementation of Global Procurement strategies in the region, implementing risk mitigation actions for the service areas in scope and reducing total costs facilities management services.• Support Category Strategy Managers in the analysis and execution of category strategies.• Drive and capture value creation through sourcing projects.• Support implementation of Global Procurement initiatives such as Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM).• Analyse the portfolio in order to find opportunities for cost optimisation and supplier rationalisation.• Analyse and challenge business decisions from the aspect of best total cost of ownership and best fit with overall business strategy.• Represent the business to third-party representatives; co-ordinate activities with the global procurement and sourcing organization where appropriate.The skills you need to succeed:• Procurement or category management experience within facilities (IFM/EFM), security, waste, real estate• Strong negotiation and communication skills and advanced skills and competencies in project management activities: planning, organization, cost/time management, scheduling, contracting, budgeting and forecasting• Practical experience within the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industry • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Fluent in English• Knowledge of contractual terms of supply and technical agreements• Working knowledge of finance (cost benchmark & financial audit with key supplier) and legal matters (contracting)• Working knowledge of procurement competencies such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review and supplier development• Working knowledge of business processes relying on Ariba, SAP/R3 and comparable IT tools• Understanding of business/scientific issues and implications on customer relationships*Please note this Umbrella rate is the amount payable to Umbrella company - this does not represent what you will actually receive from the Umbrella companyTo view all our Supply Chain jobs please go to www.people-first.co.ukPlease follow us on Linkedin: people-first-supply-chainWe would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
