ResponsibilitiesCatastrophe Modeller (London, UK)Were Hiring!Aon Reinsurance is currently recruiting a Catastrophe Modeller to join our Analytics team in London. Aons Catastrophe Modelling team is the best regarded of its kind in Europe. The team sits within Aon Benfield and provides clients (principally insurance companies) with advice on their exposures to natural disasters such as windstorms, floods and earthquakes.Using sophisticated models the team analyses the financial loss potential from thousands of possible catastrophes for clients portfolios. The output is then used to provide information on catastrophe exposure, and enables Aon to design the optimum protectionfor clients through use of reinsurance or capital markets solutions. Our work helps insurers understand their potential losses from a given catastrophic event.
