Job Description

Inspire the next generation of musicians at Harris Academy Bermondsey! We are looking to welcome new Peripatetic teachers to deliver brass or piano lessons and be a part of our peripatetic Music faculty team. This role would likely suit individuals that are happy to teach music on a casual basis. What we are looking forWe are looking to recruit experienced, talented, energetic and inspiring individuals to be part of the peripatetic music teacher team in piano and/or brass (including trumpet, tuba and trombone.Candidates need to be able to perform confidently to a high level (at least grade 8) as well as demonstrating a passion for teaching young people. A willingness and ability to teach in our paired and small group instrumental lessons is essential. Candidates may be required to take the lead on launching, leading, and developing one of our lunchtime or after-school extra-curricular music ensembles.
