Casual General AssistantSalary range: £9.79 - £9.96 per hour, plus holiday pay Work location: Various locations across HampshireHours per week: Various Shifts Available Contract type: CasualApplications will be reviewed as and when received so we encourageyou to apply at your earliest convenience.The Role: We have various opportunities for Casual General Assistants to join our friendly and supportive teams across Hampshire.No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role, as a general guide, you wouldbe responsible for: Escorting residents and assisting with meals (unit living) i.e. serving or assisting residents, clearing/resetting tables, use of dishwasher etc. and a basic food hygiene course is available. Carrying out general cleaning duties as setout in the cleaning frequency charts (residents bedrooms, communal areas, toilets, bathrooms, sluices and sundry offices), and for maintaining the required standards.Accompanying residents, as an escort, to appointments i.e. hospital, doctors, opticiansetc. Undertaking specific laundry related duties as and when required including cleaning, ironing, etc as well as occasional sewing tasks with appropriate training provided.We aim to ensure that all residents are treated as individuals and that their needsare respected and adhered to.
