Who were looking for We are looking for an ambitious Cash Operations Manager to join our Real Estate Fund Accounting Team, within the Real Estate division based in London About Schroders Were a global investment manager. The team Our award winning Real Estate department is an integral part of Schroders Capital division. We manage a broad range of real estate funds globally, including open/closed ended direct funds, listed REITs, mutual funds investing in globalreal estate securities as well as private partnership and multi-manager funds. Schroder Real Estate also manages joint ventures and separate accounts meeting specific client investment objectives. The Real Estate Fund Accounting team, consisting of 35 individualsacross the UK and Luxembourg, is part of the Real Estate department and provides core accounting services, plus investment/ product support to the real estate fund range in UK & Europe. What youll doLead the Cash Operations team within the Real EstateFund Accounting team, and manage their day to day work including payment of all supplier invoices, bank reconciliations and cash related reporting.In conjunction with procurement, manage the relationships with the banks, including instigating and achievingbank account openings as requiredOversee the completion of and ensure that AML/ KYC procedures for suppliers and Investors are adequate, in line with Schroder policy and implemented appropriatelyAct as administrator for all of the bank accounts and relatedsystems including appropriate Yardi modulesWorking with the wider team, including the members of the Yardi operations team and the technology change team, to implement and manage technology changes to improve efficiency of processesManage the developmentof the cash operationsteam and ensure that training needs are identified and met to allow effective partnering with the wider Fund Operation teamsSupport the business as required and devise the strategy for the further build out of the cash operations team Work with the wider team to continually refine and improve existing procedures/practices and processes with a view to increased operational efficiency The knowledge, experience and qualifications you needTypical educational requirements: college/schoolleaverCTA, AAT or other accounting qualifications welcome The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will helpSubstantial experience of working in an accounts payable functionYardi experience desired but not essentialLine management experience An appreciate of Real Estate structures What youll be likeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood attention to detailHappy to get involved in variety of tasks and projectsA good team player Were looking for the best, wh oever theyare Schroders is an equal opportunities employer.
