Pay: OCMAT KR4 Start Date: TBC The school is seeking a practical,flexible and friendly person for the post of caretaker at Dymchurch Primary Schoolon Romney Marsh. The role includes a range ofduties connected with security, caretaking and minor repairsof the schoolsite. The role is a crucial part of the day to day running of the school whichbenefits the children, staff and visitors. The requirements of this role willinclude occasional alarm call outs. The successful candidate will bepractical with goodDIY skills, take pride in their work and be able to observesafe working practices whilst carrying out their duties. The hours of work will be 25 hoursper week 6.00am to 8.30am and 3:30pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, all yearround (52 weeks). Salary range isOCMAT KR4 £18129to £19239 (pro rata). A pay award is pending. This is a permanent contractsubject to a six-month probationary period. This position is subject to a fullbackground DBS check and reference checks because the successful candidate willbe workingin education and will come into contact with children. Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
