An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Careers and Schools Liaison Adviser £11,882.60 (FTE £21,388.00)Job Title: Careers and Schools Liaison Adviser Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per yearContract: Fixed-term (10.08.2021 - 09.05.2022)Do you have the enthusiasm, drive and ability to make a difference in an Amazing CollegeDoes your current role lack a challenge Do you want to work for a college with over 50 years of teaching and learning experience within a friendly and professional team of specialist expertsYESThe Careers and Schools Liaison Adviser is responsible to the Careers Co-Ordinator for providing high-quality administrative support.A list of responsibilities are below: To offer impartial advice & guidance to potential students and members of the public on the opportunities available Post 14. To participate in College Open Days and enrolment events. Work closely with Head of Departments and teaching teams, to provide information and careers guidance to all students that have a • Help maintain the "Matrix" award To run sessions for existing students in relation to progression opportunities. Provide admissions and interviewing support as necessary throughout the year. Together with the Careers and Progression Co-ordinator and Managing Director Student Central to ensure that the college exercises its duty of care to safeguard pre 16 students.The role requires an individual who has well developed organisational, communication and team working skills. They must also be able to meet targets and deadlines.
