For a financial services market leader based in the City of London, KnownFour are currently seeking a Card Payments Manager with technical card payments expertise for a pivotal role in the Payments team.The role will encompass working as a business consultant to support the Payments team by identifying and developing suitable policies and strategic frameworks surrounding card payments, providing technical card payments expertise, working with internal and external stakeholders to advise and acting as an SME on card payments.The Card Payments Manager will be able to demonstrate a good background and understanding with technical card payments; show understanding of the policy, regulatory and legal issues surrounding the implications of card industry practices and procedures for card payments.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:-Knowledge and background of the card payments industry including but not limited to: contactless payments, card messaging standards, card acquisition, customer refunds, security and biometrics, insolvencies etc-Ability to adopt a reactive and pro-active approach in identifying opportunities related to policy and strategic issues-Competency in researching, data-gathering and contributing to reports, designing responses to consultations and putting together / running workshops-Ability to carry out research, designing and developing content, undertaking analysis, briefing, writing papers and devising online material and media content-Ability to present as the subject matter expert for card payments and present to high-level boards and committees of different industry internal and external stakeholders-Attention to detail, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and across all levels with excellent communications skills-Experience with stakeholder managementThis role will be for a 12 month FTC and the client offers a very competitive salary and benefits scheme alongside flexible working in a corporate environment.
