Job Description

As a C++ Software Engineer (£850 per day) you will be part of a team of developers working to develop, evolve and industrialise global n-tier referential and market data services software infrastructure. This application provides real-time storage and offersglobal distribution. As an expert in C++ you will provide engineering solutions to reduce complexity and address application infrastructure problems at scale.Client DetailsMy client is a tier one investment bank operating in the financial services industry with offices in London.DescriptionMy London based financial services client is looking for a C++ Software Engineer (£850 per day) to engage in the following:

  • Develop, evolve and industrialise global n-tier referential and market data services software and infrastructure (real-time storage and global distribution)
  • Champion and Evolve DevOps
  • In-hours, 3rd line development support of applications within teams remit
ProfileTo be considered for the C++ Software Engineer (£850 per day) role at my financial services clients site in London, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
  • Expert C++
  • Expert SQL
  • Previous exposure to C#
  • Have an engineering mindset able to quickly understand the technicalities of an application and enhance it with small and incremental safe advancements.
  • Communicate technical ideas lucidly.
  • A solid understanding of concurrency in application development.
  • A robust methodology for debugging and profiling applications.
  • Expert knowledge of large scale, low latency system design patterns and architecture.
  • Highly motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
