***C#.Net Developer - Contract - Remote/London***C#.Net Developer6 Month Rollin ContractRemote/LondonFinancial Services£500 to £600pwd via Umbrella CompanyJob DescriptionThe role is in within Equity Services (EQS) Technology which provides global development and support for the firms Prime Brokerage business, satisfying the demands of both internal business areas and external clients. A diverse range of systems are used globally to fulfil trade capture, settlement, charging and client reporting. This is a dynamic, client-facing department whereby technology team members are expected to be flexible and adapt quickly to new and changing requirements, priorities and roles as required.This role is to be a part of the agile scrum team responsible for enhancing, architecting and building global calculators for the Prime Brokerage business, acting as a C# developer. The project is to continue the build-out of client charging calculators.Responsibilities· Leverage technical knowledge to create technology solutions that address complex technical, architectural and organizational challenges· Deliver reusable strategic services and platforms as part of a team· Apply experience to inform, challenge and support technology decisions· Contribute new ideas in a rapidly evolving environment and see them through to implementation· Interact directly with the business/end-user community to capture functional requirements and generate specifications documentation.· Manage Testing and Implementation· Co-ordinate between various teams/groups for solution delivery and BAU support· Participate in SCRUM planning exercises and other ceremonies.Essential Technical Skills· C#/.Net (Using 4.8 in the role) with deep understanding of generics, containers, dependency injection, LINQ, TPL· Database - Oracle 12 (Preferred) / SQL Server 2016· OData or RESTful API design· Visual Studio 2019· Testing - NUnit, Specflow· CI: Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity/Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, Artifactory, PowershellWork Experience· At least 5-7 years application development experience in a large enterprise environment preferably financial service and banking· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#) with design and development experience in building distributed calculation/processing engines with parallel computing capabilities· Knowledge of algorithmic design and implementation· Understanding of data structures and their appropriate usage.· Background in high volume/capacity data oriented systems· SQL development experience on relational databases.· Experience of technical architecture, design patterns and database design· Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment systems and experience of TDD/BDD methodologies· Experience with agile practices such as SCRUM· Knowledge of Prime Brokerage business would be a plusTO APPLY - PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL WITH AN UP TO DATE CVCandidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
