Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Menswear Buying Admin Assistant to join our MW Buying team based at our Central London Head Office. In return you will receive a competitive salary and excellent benefits!The RoleAs our Buying Admin Assistant, you will report to the Menswear Assistant Buyer and Menswear Buyer. You will work alongside the Merchandisers, Product Developers and Designers to deliver balanced and exciting ranges for all areas of the Reiss Brand.Responsibilities of our Buying Admin Assistant will include:

  • Build relationships with suppliers through launching colour lab dips, strike off’s and trim sourcing.
  • Liaise with Suppliers when order and buying samples, as well as ensure samples are sent off on time.
  • Buy Meetings & Franchise Meetings - Including the upfront preparation of the room, samples and picture boards
  • Ensure sample rails are managed and maintained
  • Attending weekly progress meetings to manage the critical path to ensure product is delivered on time
  • Working closely with other departments to keep the teams updated on product selection, and help drive sales
  • Ensuring the department remains organised and tidy through filing system
  • Driving processes in order to take responsibility of the organisation of the samples on the department
  • Keeping up-to-date on what is happening in fashion both online and retail world
  • Understand and enthuse about the product, relating this to current trends and the Brand values
  • Our Buying Admin Assistant will have the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to use their initiative
  • Works well in a team but can also strive in individual tasks
  • Previous experience within a Buying Head Office team, or has completed a related Degree
  • A genuine interest in fashion and our brand
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent time keeping skills, able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work methodically in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach, with the ability to multitask
