What will you be doing Undertaking data analysis to support operational performance and improvement Providing comprehensive operational oversight to operational teams, senior leadership, service buyers, auditors & regulators Building and utilising reportingin a range of tools including SQL, Python & Tableau, leveraging existing Data Warehousing solutions & establishing new data sources Utilising design skills to produce and maintain clear, articulate & insightful reporting, in order to best deliver analyticoutputs & derived insights to stakeholders Actively driving improvements to ineffective or inefficient processes and procedures, applying lean methodology and sharing best practices Improving technical knowledge and analytical capabilities through personaldevelopment and training, staying up to date with latest technology and techniques Working to identify appropriate use cases to drive insight and share best practices Understanding Barclays Group processes & policies to ensure adherence, completing appropriatedata reconciliation to provide evidence to demonstrate adherence to controls What were looking for: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience Experience with scripting languages (VBA, Python, SQL), statistical software (SAS / R) and data visualizationsoftware (Tableau), and office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in quantitate & statistical analytics, undertaking data manipulation of large datasets through the use of scripting languages Experience in optimising and automating reporting,identifying appropriate opportunities to do so in order to drive capacity benefits Skills that will help you in the role: Degree or record of accomplishment in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related scientific disciplines Will have previouslyworked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad understanding of Experienced in stakeholder management at a senior level Proven experience of managing operational processes/ leading small teams Where will you be working Weve been in Scotlandfor 250 years, and our significance has never been as important as it is today.
