Job Description

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager to work on its International Bank Platform (IBP) as part of the Commercial Banking International Operations Strategy & Delivery GBF team. The International Bank Platform (IBP) Team is responsible for coordinating and leading the implementation of the International Groups Strategic systems initiatives. This team will focus specifically on coordinating the operational infrastructure build outto accommodate the Divisions International Bank Platform. This strategic role will manage a group of Business Execution Consultants / Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who work closely with the other support groups of the International Bank Platform and willassist with the build out of our footprint internationally. In this role, you will:

  • Manage, lead and develop a team of 8 -10 Business Execution Consultants / Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Ensure that the team of SMEs work closely with our product and technology partners in the creation and review of Business Requirements and actionable Design Specifications to identify and account for operational impacts introduced through the DivisionsInternational Bank Platform
  • Manage the development of key project artifacts (such as process flows and procedures) for use by operations supporting the project efforts.
  • Ensure the team works with End User Validation to determine validation requirements for the upcoming system changes/enhancements.
  • Ensure the proper engagement with production operations teams supporting implementation of newly developed functionality. This may require establishment of standards for measuring performance against process requirements while ensuring alignment to theproduct group strategy through the creation, deployment, and training of the developed procedures for the redesigned processes.
  • Ensure that the team perform root cause analysis and business case development for proposed technology enhancements, staff and structure changes. This may require the Business Execution Consultants in the team to author system enhancement requests thatreflect the business need, which will include the business justification and high-level requirements resulting from the request.
  • Ensure the team support and occasionally lead the implementation of smaller Commercial Banking International Operations Strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the leadership of the International Bank Platform while organizing, leading, and facilitating cross-entity, enterprise-wide redesign initiatives that will lead to the realization of the IBP strategic vision.
  • Support the end to end analysis and future state redesign of existing products to align to the go forward international operations model.
  • Utilizes process improvement techniques and services to support the development of metrics that provide dashboards and SLAs for operations and process management to manage day to day activities and identify future improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargos policies and business line objectives
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US /International:
  • 10+ years of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience particularly in the area of International Payment & Clearing systems and Treasury Management systems.
  • 6+ years recent Management experience leading diverse Operations teams
  • Project experience supporting Operations processing of Treasury Management and Payments products and services through Flexcube and Flexpay.
  • Knowledge of Sanction Scanning and Investigation systems
  • Thorough knowledge of SWIFT and its various Payment message types.
  • Thorough knowledge of Treasury Management accounts and account structures
  • Extensive understanding of financial controls and risk.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in iGrafx and/or MS Visio and the suite of Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to work on ones own initiative, proactively getting involved in issues to identify the impact to Operations
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
