Our client is a global leader in Consulting, Technology Solutions and Digital Transformation.They are looking for a London-based (once/twice a week) BDM with a sound understanding of Marketing Solutions as this is the service offering that is being taken to market in this role. Our clients Digital Marketing Operations practice sells and delivers digital marketing solutions to its top clients. The portfolio of services is focused on delivering the latest and bestin class digital marketing solutions to drive marketing and sales outcomes for the brand and are based on the enhanced adoption of mar-tech tools and agile operations from our clients offshore centres.Description

  • Developing value propositions to sell a broad set of marketing solutions from an extensive portfolio, such as: Digital Content Services, Campaign Management and Marketing Analytics
  • Manages activities that take place during marketing solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation
  • Research and identify the challenge and ideal marketing solution to drive marketing operational efficiencies for prospects. This may include RFP, RFIs, POVs or pitch books with evidenced recommendations, project manage and drive the roadmap for transitioningto the selected solution
  • Generate enquiries or prospective leads through direct client relationships (C-suite / Head of Department and other relevant direct reports) where required to present new offerings, capabilities and value proposition
  • Build or develop an external network of relevant prospective connections to include attendance of trade shows or networking events
  • Identify new prospects and potential client opportunities from discussions with the Account Directors alongside your own research and knowledge
  • Lead conversations with clients and prospects to identify opportunities to transform their marketing operations
  • Work with relevant Heads of Departments and presales teams throughout client acquisition as well as helping to shape new offerings and drive growth
  • Translate strategic discoveries, research, and workshop outcomes into external facing narratives, strategy briefs, and roadmaps for clients and delivery teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage numerous opportunities at various stages in the pipe and to drive conversations to a successful conclusion
ProfileOur client is in need of a highly skilled consultant, someone with business development experience and sound understanding of marketing solutions (inc. digital). You will be a highly skilled relationship builder who has worked in a large matrix environment,ideally a large consultancy / consulting firm. You will be a strong communicator and able to work across multiple teams. This role would suit perfectly a Sales & Marketing Manager who enjoys the prospecting side of business development whilst engaging withclients around marketing solutions.
  • Bachelors Degree - preferably in Business Administration, Interactive Marketing, Strategic Marketing
  • Experience working in a large or global matrix organisation preferably with a B2C brand(s) in Financial Services, Consumer Products, Retail
  • Relevant experience developing marketing propositions
  • A solid prospecting background to include proposition building or leading the RFP process - experience of driving development of £5 million pipeline (minimum) or experience of having supported large scale deals
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing from either a delivery perspective either client or agency side including SEO, SEM, Paid Search and Social
  • Experience building and managing campaigns in Adobe, Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Solid understanding of analytics and tracking, a/b testing, tag management, and content management
  • A creative individual able to identify challenges and generate innovative marketing ideas for the client from your own knowledge of marketing operational challenges
  • Excellent communication skills with strong client facing experience
  • Confident self-starter who can develop and build strong relationships with internal and external parties
  • Continuous learner who is willing to learn and remains open to new ideas and thinking
Job OfferOur client is looking to pay £65-70k Base Salary (DoE) with a c.5-8% bonus to be discussed at interview.I look forward to hearing from you.
