Job Description

Our client are a leading global professional services firm looking for a London-based Business Development professional.Our client are in need of someone with a strong Data and Digital background across professional & financial services or someone who has been in a consulting firm providing Data Strategy, Digital and Data Analytics services.Client DetailsOne of the worlds largest professional services firms. Market leaders in consulting and advisory services.This role sits within an arm of our clients business that helps clients with advice, assurance and implementation support for Data, RegTech, FinTech and Digital areas.DescriptionYour role is to be one of a team of business development professionals who can deliver objective, value-added solutions that will enable clients to implement sound organisational strategies, increase data & technological capabilities and improve their business, platform, end client and operational effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Client business development

  • Advanced presentation and content development skills
  • Working on a wide-reaching range of projects
  • Lead from the front in regards to delivering client work, engaging the client Chief Data Officer, Data Strategy, Digital Strategy and Data Governance teams, and broader internal teams (across Financial Services, Regulatory, etc.) to ensure correct skill utilisation on all projects
  • For clients you will be producing high quality advice accurately, delivering to expectations, responding quickly to client demands and delivering to deadlines
  • You will be actively involved in client meetings, concisely and confidently answering client queries whilst providing intelligent and creative solutions to client issues both reactively and proactively
  • Develop thought leadership and present at conferences on a wide range of Data topics
    • ProfileOur client are in need of someone with a strong Data and Digital background across professional & financial services or someone who has been in a consulting firm providing Data Strategy, Digital and Data Analytics services. You must also be a skilled business development professional. Below are some key points as to what our client would ideally be looking at by way of experience - do not worry if you dont cover each area.
  • MBA from a top 20 European business school
  • Data and/or Digital experience and to be Data Analytics Savvy
  • Business Development is key - Proposals
  • Create engaging content using advanced MS Office tools - Content Writer Propositions /Proposals
  • Horizon Scanning New Technologies and Ventures
  • Good networking skills (digitally & in person)
  • Excellent Communication Written & Verbal
  • Understanding and interest in FinTech ecosystem
  • Develop proposals and propositions to respond to client requests in the fields of Data, Digital, RegTech, Regulatory change and FinTech
  • Work to develop solutions for our clients Digital and Data platforms
  • Data analytics and visualisations - use of data software (i.e Power BI, Alteryx, Knime, Tableau, etc.) is desirable
  • Helping with software development and creation of applications
    • Fundamentally our client are in need of someone passionate about supporting, advising and helping businesses achieve their potential.
