Job Description

This role will start off as a 3 month internship with a £30,000 base salary + benefits, however, we are ideally looking to move this into a permanent role.What does the company doWe are a globally-recognised specialist and award-winning consulting firm for the Private Equity industry. We work with the leading Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate & Infrastructure fund managers on all aspects of digital transformation. We are a team of 55 highly motivated people, based predominantly in London. We also have a team in Belgrade.Our Consulting Business is growing fast. Weve built an excellent reputation in the industry and have a huge amount of demand for our services. The Business Development function is responsible for setting up new projects for the Consulting team to deliver,meeting new clients and overall, ensuring that we have the level of new business that we need to hit our growth targets.How you expect the candidate to spend their day:Working closely with the Consulting team, the key day-to-day activities of the Business Development Executive would be:

  • Reaching out to CFOs, COOs & Heads of ESG at Private Equity firms with a sequence of emails, working to setup meetings where well pitch our services
  • Supporting the production of proposals for new Consulting projects
  • Using Business Development tools such as MS Dynamics 365 and HubSpot
  • Coordinating business development activities, including managing target lists

  • Natural people person. Highly empathetic with the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proactive self-starter (someone who will take initiative to solve a problem rather than waiting for it to be solved)
  • High attention to detail
  • Organised, with the ability to handle multiple different responsibilities in parallel
  • Commercial mindset
Interests:
  • Someone who would like to work in Private Equity / Asset Management / Financial Services industry, but in a more commercial, people-focussed role rather than a pure finance/data role
