Job Description

I cannot speak highly enough of my client (a B2B energy company) – I have been working with them since they were a start-up and I have watched them grow from strength to strength ever since. They promote their staff from within (I’ve seen my candidates receivemore than one promotion in their time there) and will always encourage and support.I am currently assisting them in the recruitment for a Sales and Account Manager to join their Direct Sales team. You will have a dual focus on both account management and business development of gas and electricity contracts – from a fixed price to themore complex flexible contract structure. Experience in this space would be preferred along with experience of dealing directly with end consumers.You will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and renewing accounts, covering both electricity and gas customers. Your focus will be on building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring efficient handling of complex tenders.Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Oversee existing contracts, coordinate tenders, and negotiate terms
  • Pricing and Proposition Optimization: Collaborate with the Trading Desk team to structure appropriate proposals and products, tailoring solutions for key accounts.
  • Business Development: Generate leads, convert them into new clients, and participate in industry events.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (CRM, operations, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Delivery: Lead the implementation of strategies, including client liaison, stakeholder analysis, and reporting.
Other details:
  • £40,000 - £50,000 + annual performance bonus
  • Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm
  • Fully office-based role in beautiful offices in West London
