Responsibilities and Duties Design and deliver programmes, at places such as boot-camps, workshops, mentoring sessions, demo days, gala dinners and conferences. Managing the event process end to end and beyond Managing our Founders and Alumni network andmaximising continued engagement Mentoring and support to their portfolio companies in-house development, including, but not limited to, our proprietary technology translation scaffold, business plan, commercialisation strategy, business model canvas, leanstart-up models, value proposition canvas and incubation facilities Working with their portfolio companies and the assigned Portfolio Managers to "de-risk" them and make them investment ready during the initial programme phase, and to support them in identifyingand delivering their milestones during the later ones to develop their proof-of-concept(s) and make them investment ready Working closely with the Investment team to ensure the programmes deliver high quality investment opportunities to the investment committeeStaying up to date with latest start-up tools and techniques from all relevant domains Building and maintaining strong personal and professional relationships with sources of start-up deal-flow across continental Europe, such as universities, research centres,corp-orates, start-ups competitions, etc. Build ecosystem support across a variety of relevant stakeholders around the programme to promote content and exposure of the programme * Recruitment and management of mentors to provide the required scientific, businessdevelopment, legal and financial support to Panacea Stars portfolio companies Qualifications and Skills A relevant science and/or business development background (preferably Masters/PhD/MBA) Preferably relevant experience in early stage venturing technologytransfer, management, consulting and/or investment Minimum 2 years experience running and managing a range of events, including boot-camps, demo days and accelerators A good understanding of science commercialisation strategies, market access and exit routesStrong entrepreneurial skills and demonstrated interest in technology and start-ups business planning, business model canvasing, due diligence and investment Good knowledge of the life science, health-care, engineering, energy and AI ecosystems Strong projectmanagement and organisational skills Good knowledge of the accelerators scene Good knowledge of evaluating early stage ventures You are results-driven: you are not just a planner but a doer, you are not afraid to roll your sleeves up
