Job Description

Edward Mann are recruiting for a leading, international Transport Group based in Central London (Hybrid). Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Commercial/Strategic Team.This position will support the Group with both UK-based and international projects, business development and various international tenders.Key responsibilities include:Modelling & Analysis:

  • Develop analytical tools and models using MS Excel to aid key decision-making.
  • Manipulate large operational and revenue/cost performance data sets, creating graphs and reports in Excel.
  • Prepare financial models and documentation, supporting business cases, bids and other projects.
  • Provide explanation of data-supported assumptions when identifying project-impacting financial risks.
Content Creation & Review:
  • SWOT & PESTLE analysis.
  • Trend reviews and forecast.
  • Contribute writing, diagrams and informatics to support the explanation of research, data and analysis
Project Management:
  • Develop and use project management tools to support the delivery of projects and programmes, including the creation of Excel Gantt charts.
  • Organise, attend and run project meetings, communicating with key stakeholders across the group.
Candidate requirements:
  • Relevant sector or numerical-based degree (e.g., transport, engineering, economics, sciences, business, or mathematics, or similar)
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar Analyst position.
  • Strong Excel skills, working with large data sets.
