Overview of Initial AssignmentBrickendon have been engaged to will help drive and deliver insights for IBOR Transition deliveries. Key Responsibilities Liaise and form close partnership with functional support groups to form strategic solution for the IBOR Transition Produce track key performance indicators Support the Data Validation and Controls that are required to cover new RFR curves Perform market data/scenario analysis for existing vs new risk factors Perform Market Data Quality Checks Ensure smooth end to end testing is in place Conduct Analysis and identify material changes Analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to key stakeholders Support senior management and co-ordinating response to various regular ad hoc enquiries Ensure risks are identified in a timely manner, correctly measured and appropriately escalated Support BAU project activities to ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity for Risk Management Comply with regulatory requirements Assist in the development of Data Governance post implementation Delivering analysis and expertise on Market Data and Risk Factors within Traded Risk Relationship Manager with Market Risk Managers Delivering High Standard MI reporting/analysis Supporting risk model efficiency and on-going validation Work as a Subject Matter Expert on your area, e.g. IR & FX Maximize usage and quality of data within your area of expertise Working with the Product team to ensure that the overall solution design delivers against the benefits realisation plan Respond, react and monitor change and transition within the product lifecycle Underpin the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data Skills & Requirements Degree or post graduate level, and ideally in a numerate subject Knowledge of Pricing or Valuation Control experience, more specifically understanding of IPV (Independent Price Verification) processes, bootstrapping techniques, model parameters controls, statistical techniques and data cleansing Experience on market data management, data cleansing and sourcing Experience in analytical reporting, e.g. explain of a transformation by decomposition Proven relevant working experience in a Global Markets environment, with relevant exposure in the risk industry an advantage Have an understanding of market or credit risk management techniques, systems, processes and functions including VaR/Stress Testing and the Greeks, ideally through line experience. Product knowledge across multiple assets classes - Fixed Income, Equity, Commodity, FX Relevant work experience Exposure to a control environment, with an understanding of credit and/or market risk reporting processes a plus Excellent numerical and analytical skillset Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office, incl. VBA Strong data management and problem solving skills High attention to detail Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Effectively manage and able to adapt to changes in projects Experience with market data software e.g. Asset Control, Reuters, Bloomberg Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at a global level is paramount Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Focused and delivery-driven with ability to meet tight deadlines Hands on approach required and willingness to take personal accountability Pragmatic decision making capability Desirable: Understanding and knowledge of recent regulatory changes in Banking Finance related qualifications e.g. CFA, FRM, Masters in Finance, ACA Familiarity with risk driven capital requirements and reporting
