Job Description

Business Analyst required for a fully remote role by a global organisation to be accountable and responsible for delivery of Business Analysis, requirements gathering for new GIS demand and reporting within the Global IS Strategy team reporting into theHead of BA within Global IS Strategy.Technical Business Analyst role is fully remote working (if desired) and can be based anywhere in the UK - though the client has offices in most UK cities including London and Manchester. The role offers a salary up to £45K + Excellent benefits includinga pension with employer contribution of c20% contributions plus 32 days holidays p.a plus bank holidays plus numerous other benefits providing a fantastic work life balance.Technical Business Analyst - specific skills

  • Ability to follow business analysis disciplines
  • Analyses project data
  • Documenting the demand Architecture needs according to the clients Architecture framework
  • Leads business analysis tasks and workshops for large and/or high-risk projects
  • Coordinates a diverse team with awareness of equality and diversity impact
  • Assures adherence to standards
  • Develops and ensures the implementation of high-quality analysis artefacts
  • Aligning Enterprise Architecture components with the business priorities, ensuring that our
  • resources are deployed appropriately to fulfil approved demand.
Essential Technical Business Analyst experience
  • Multi-year experience of working in a Business Analyst role supporting business change programmes that impact across multiple functions / business areas and regions.
  • Proven leadership experience including developing relationships with different areas of the business, building collaborate relationships and tenacity to drive projects forward.
  • Experience of requirements elicitation and definition
  • Stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Producing Analysis documents -Experience providing clear and concise documents including:
o Business Caseso Functional and Non-functional requirements in User Story and other formatso Feasibility studies and as-is / to-be analysis, considering existing IT architectureo Business Process modelling using BPMN and other techniques
  • Documenting Enterprise Architecture, especially Capability Maps, dependencies mapping
  • Desirable experience of workforce planning in terms of development and technology, using recognised tools and systems (e.g., SAP, MyHR etc) would be highly advantageous
Technical Business Analyst - Accountabilities
  • Providing pre-project analysis, supporting Business Case development, and outlining options to enable effective decision making and authorisations.
  • Facilitation of demand led business meetings and working with Business Partners to understand the problem statement, undertaking contextual analysis, to ensure that Strategic Business Units achieve business benefits.
  • Supporting the Benefit planning and Realisation process.
  • Analysis of Global IS contracts, supporting renegotiation
  • Aligning Enterprise Architecture components with the business priorities, ensuring that resources are deployed appropriately to fulfil approved demand.
  • Ensures that Architecture Principles are adhered to, communicated clearly to the business and ensures that user experience design is tested.
