Job Description

Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. We offer our UK employees a 3:2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home. This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivitywhilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance. BackgroundThis 12 month fixed term contract will support the considerable amount of work in the ESG space (including TCFD, SDR and our ESG Strategy) Candidates with a strong regulatory understanding in these areas are particularly welcomed to apply. Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document data, both structured and unstructured, working closely with business stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of ESG regulatory frameworks, including the SFDR, to ensure compliance and alignment with our companys ESG strategy.
  • Use advanced analytical skills to provide technical specifications for data engineers to implement, including the extraction and analysis of unstructured data.
  • Utilise SQL, Python, and other relevant tools to manipulate and analyse structured and unstructured data as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery using Agile methodologies.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and senior management, including creating documentation and presentations as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies in ESG investment data management, particularly those related to unstructured data analysis.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the organisation.
Desired Skills / Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on ESG investment data.
Strong understanding of
  • ESG Data and how such data is used throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • ESG data providers and their offerings, with the ability to evaluate and recommend suitable options.
  • ESG Regulatory Frameworks such as SFDR
