Job Description

Delivering digital solutions and developing innovations that make things easier for our customers.Our Defence business, within SSCL, is on the lookout for several Business Analysts (BA), to support with a high-profile Transformation Programme. We want to digitally transform military personnel pay and administration, veterans pensions and related servicesfor military personnel including reservists, and veterans.We can offer phenomenal career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere in the UK (with the need to be able to travel to Gosport or Glasgow on a weekly basis) and benefits which you can flex to meet your needs, and training and developmentopportunities.Were officially ranked as a 2022 UKs Best Workplace, so why not join us and be a part of our fantastic team!What youll be doing:Work collaboratively with the Senior BAs and Head of Business Analysis to follow processes and practices and ensures risk management plans are in place, in response to theClients preferred requirement methodologiesResponsible for project life-cycle requirements, ensuring standard process is followed and working with partners to ensure continuous process improvement.Define and agree scope, time, financial and quality measures and deliverables for each assignment with project team and clientComplete assignment informal reviews with all partners in an agile manner during the requirements processWhat youll bring:

  • Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst on multiple small and medium programmes/ projects
  • Broad understanding of methods, systems and procedures for projects and programs and business analysis practices
  • Ability to either tackle problems with commercial judgement
  • Experience of Jira
