Job Description

A Global Social Media Company is seeking a Business Affairs Manager to join their team on a contract basis for an initial 3 months.Duties:

  • Work with specialised video and digital content products in FRL Marketing to support the marketing production process for products.
  • Work with legal team to write and/or review PSAs, SOWs, 3rd party materials contracts
  • Support cross-functional teams to facilitate production, including business development for game and media partnerships and licensing
  • Understand production budget management and provide budget support to Executive Producers
  • Review and provide feedback to producers on cost and approach on production company bids
  • Negotiate and manage music licenses
  • Understand and negotiate talent contracts (celebrity and non union)
  • Manage external vendor relationships to pay and monitor talent
  • Facilitate and maintain talent, stock photography and music tracking for all assets, including knowledge of tracking databases
  • Help facilitate broadcast traffic to dubbing partner and networks, if necessary
  • Coordinate and communicate with outside agency partner Business Affairs managers
Skills and experience:
  • 7+ years experience, advertising industry agency (independent and/or within technology companies) or production company
  • Experience running mid-sized to large projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with Product Marketing
  • Ability to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience managing external creative and production partners
  • Expert organisational and database management skills
  • Expert at reviewing SOWs, dealing with legal, finance and procurement teams.
  • BA preferred
