Job Description

Building Physics/Sustainability EngineerLondon Salary: CompetitiveRef: TJ1017Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be assisting a large multi-disciplinary consultancy in their search for a Building Physics/Sustainability Engineer to join their London team.Covering a range of construction sectors including housing, leisure, transport, and commercial this established consultancy are seeking someone who wishes to grow their career.The Role:

  • Providing insights on Sustainability, Compliance, Net Zero Carbon, and Certification
  • Delivering stellar client and project management for key work streams
  • Leading technical projects
  • Building performance, building physics, and operational energy optimisation
    • What you will need:
  • MSc in Engineering or the Built Environment
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge on building physics
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge on Sustainability
  • Experience in passive design, thermal comfort, compliance modelling and operational energy
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge on Part L compliance assessments using IES (SBEM/DSM) and NHER (SAP)
  • Experience in HVAC modelling
  • Experience with in-use energy modelling
  • Experience with Façade performance
  • BREEAM experience or qualifications
