Job Description

We are working with a prestigious International Bank based in West End who are seeking a native Arabic speaker (preferably Khaleeji dialect) to provide a high quality branch services to their clients in their Head Office branch. This will be a 3 to 6 month training contract (with a view to go permanent).You will be responsible for:

  • Learning full branch and private banking operations from day 1 where your duties will range across;
  • Maintaining a till in Sterling and Foreign Currency. Staff and Customer travel orders.
  • Encashment of cheques and counter debits drawn upon customers accounts held in Retail Branches in London.
  • The encashment of drafts drawn upon the bank and its overseas Branches.
  • The acceptance of credits whether cash or cheque to accounts held with Retail Branches in London.
  • Acceptance from customers to transfer requests, whether internal or external, cheque book issuance.
  • Purchase and Sale of Foreign Currency notes and Travelers Cheques.
  • Input of the above to the host computer via the Teller Sub-System.
  • Updating information for MIS/Statistical Reporting.
  • Telephone Queries.
  • Meeting and greeting high net worth and VIP clients.
  • ATM replenishment and management
We are seeking:
  • A native Arabic speaker, fluent in reading and writing as well.
  • Ideally have connections with the GCC / Gulf and can comfortably converse with the Khaleeji dialect.
  • Confidence to deal with customers face to face
  • Ideally be a recent graduate 2018 - 2022
