If you are a data driven professional in Boomi data integration with basic Azure expertise, Its a great opportunity for you to grow into a more rounded data engineer using the latest technology.We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer that will design, maintain and support data integration pipelines, both across our transactional systems and data analytics pipelines.As a Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using the Boomi platform and Data Analytics Pipeline using the Azure stack. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless data flowand connectivity between various systems, applications, and databases.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, design integration processes, and deliver scalable and efficient data integration solutions. Your expertise in Boomi and Azure will be critical in solving complex integration challengesand ensuring the reliable transfer and transformation of data.Principal accountabilitiesTechnical (Boomi professional proficiency and Azure Data basic experience)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and define integration objectives.
• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere platform.
• Design, develop and maintain data analytics pipelines using the Azure Data Stack (Data Factory, Databricks)
• Build, configure, and deploy integration processes, connectors, and workflows within Boomi and the Azure platform.
• Conduct data mapping, data transformation, and data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of integrated data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, including error handling, performance tuning, and debugging.
• Monitor data integration processes, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance.
• The ideal candidate has both Transactional Data Integration and Data Engineering skills, in any case, specific training will be provided on the Azure stack

Collaboration and problem solving

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration between various systems, applications, and databases.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design, deployment guides, and process flow diagrams.
• Stay updated with the latest Boomi and Azure features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Data Integration Engineer or similar role, with specific experience in Boomi platform.
• Strong knowledge of Boomi AtomSphere platform, including connectors, workflows, transformations, and error handling.
• Proficiency in developing integration solutions using Boomi tools such as Boomi Flow, Boomi API Management, and Boomi EDI.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure (Data Factory, Databricks)
• Familiarity with Data Analytics solutions (ETL, Datawarehouses, Data Lakes, Data Streaming and replication, Change Data Capture, Event management)
• Experience with various data integration patterns, protocols, and standards (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.).
• Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modelling.
• Ability to analyse complex requirements, identify integration challenges, and propose effective solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Boomi certification(s) such as Boomi Developer or Boomi Architect.
• Experience with other integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, SnapLogic, etc.).
• Microsoft Azure Data Certifications
