Job Description

Dove and Hawk have partnered with a Chartered Surveying firm who have been established in the City of London for over 30 years. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Block Manager to oversee their management portfolio consisting of both commercialand residential property. Duties:

  • Rent, service charge and insurance collection
  • Familiar with and dealing with tenant breaches and solutions for remedies including forfeiture, submitting claims for recoveries of losses.
  • Annual service charge budgeting in accordance with the RICS Code of Service Charge Practice Maintenance schedules on a reactive and pro-active basis.
  • Compliancy across the portfolio that may include Lease covenants, EPCs, FRAs, Asbestos reports etc.
  • Routine property inspections and organising and attending meeting with lessees and or tenant associations.
  • Reporting to Directors to provide regular updates on all aspects of the properties/tenants including at ad-hoc intervals regarding the portfolios performance or any issues affecting this.
  • Engaging with suitable contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance is completed in a satisfactory manner.
  • Managing the portfolio of 80 Properties
  • Highlighting events such as rent reviews, lease renewals, lease assignments and dilapidations and liaising internally with colleagues to address such matters including appropriate recording and updating of events
Requirements:
  • 3 - 4 Years Experience in commerical and Residential
Benefits:
  • Training if the applicant is seeking to achieve Chartered Surveyor status.
