Job Description

Our client a Global Specialty independent Lloyd’s broker are seeking to recruit an experienced Binding Authority Technician to join their worldwide property division – as part of an established and inclusive team.You will be responsible for providing technical support for the life cycleof the accounts;

  • Preparing binder MRCs, working with internal and external stakeholders on portfolio transfers, profit commissions etc.
  • Providing cover documentation to clients
  • Conducting statistical analysis
  • Registering new binding authorities via BARS and completing annual compliance and new applications within Atlas
  • Keeping oversight of coordinated audits the Lloyd’s AiMs platform
    • It will be essential that you have extensive experience in managing binding authorities within a broker environment, ideally within property or liability. A sound working knowledge of Lloyd’s DA systems will be essential, along with different wordings and clauses.Given you will be dealing with numerous internal and external stakeholders, you will need to have strong communication and relationship management skills.
