Having recently been the subject of an MBO, this broker is going through an exciting period of change. It is led by a dynamic and experienced management team that has set a clearly defined strategy, and the business is now returning to double digit-growth.As Binder Technician, you will play a key part in the administration of policies pertaining to private individuals, intermediaries and international organisations. As well as processing new business and renewals in line with specified terms and conditions, you will be responsible for handling the administration of premium payments, statements and bordereaux, in a timely and accurate fashion.You will also produce a range of MI and reports, as well as binding authorities, line slips and MRC. You will be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, whether this is chasing Underwriters for documentation or answering client queries. It is essential that you are from a commercial insurance background, and have a knowledge of both common and specialist lines (such as Med Mal’). You should have a sound understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Market’s structure (ideally including a knowledge of claims processes and experience of producing line slips and MRC’s).
