BIM Manager - LondonSalary - Competitive + Excellent BenefitsThe ClientOur client are an award winning established multi-consultancy practice, based around architecture. This highly successful practice work in close partnership with their clients and design unique facilities reflective of their clients’ bespoke goals and aspirations. The consultancy offers service for Architecture, Interior Design, Landscaping, Town Planning, Principle Design, Urban. They work on high end projects within Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Urban Design, Mixed use and Charity.The RoleThe following are some, though not an exclusive list, of the duties the successful candidate will be expected to carry out:Ensure the smooth running of BIM software and hardwareProviding support to the relevant director by working closely with ITSupport to manage software and hardware development, updates, archiving and back-up strategyResponsible for formulating and implementing CAD/ BIM strategy through ArchiCADMaintain up to date industry-standard CAD/ BIM procedures and systems to ensure interoperability with other systems and organisationsLeading the development of the BIM Handbook, templates and office standards, and responsible for communicating these to all staffResponsible for creating a curriculum of staff training in matters relating to CAD/ BIM presented through CPD sessionsDesigning and providing CAD/ BIM inductions and training sessions for new staffAssisting staff to set up new projects/ ArchiCAD models in line with CAD/ BIM standardsKeeping abreast of latest trends in digital construction by attending relevant events and seminars and through researchProviding ongoing ad hoc CAD/ BIM assistance to project teams, with the support of the BIM groupAssisting in the promotion and marketing of the practice and bid documentationProviding support with the implementation and maintenance of company policies and proceduresReports to the director responsible for BIMThe above is not an exhaustive list; in addition to the above duties, you may be required to perform other duties as the needs of our business change. Previous Knowledge and Experience Qualified BIM manager with at least three years of experience working with ArchiCADTrack record in delivering BIM Level 2 projectsGood level of knowledge of construction and procurement techniquesGood level of skills in staff managementCompetent skills in project managementAbility to help drive projects forwardPossess excellent time management skills and multi-tasking abilitiesHave a positive representation of the companyVery good knowledge of the latest trends in digital construction technologyEffective oral and written communication skillsImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
