BIM Coordinator - Reading£28k-£29kReadingMy client, a global Construction company based in the heart of the City, are looking for a BIM Coordinator with 6-12 months experience and a relevant BIM degree. This role will focus on project support and BIM implementation. You will have a strong technical background and a passion to develop BIM capabilities across a broad range of software platforms. The Role- Assisting with the delivery of BIM Level 2 on live projects including production of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in response to Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs)- Liaising with external consultants to ensure compliance with project BEPs and EIRs.- BIM model federation, validation and quality audits; clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks Manage and rule-based model checking software such as Solibri Model Checker- 3D modelling and visualisation; creating and editing- 3D models in Autodesk Revit or Sketchup, coupled with rendering and post-production- Validation of supply chain and client asset information in COBie and bespoke formats- Working on tenders and support winning work teams- Attending BIM coordination workshops to assist with navigation and quality improvement- Assisting training the wider team with the understanding of BIM process, protocols and toolsThe Person- BIM or other relevant degree- 6-12 months experience within a similar BIM role- Strong technical background with software skills, knowledge of BIM software platforms, either in industry or academic application- Ability to work on multiple projects- Forward thinking, with an interest in technology and innovations within the construction industry- Good interpersonal skills- Self-motivatedOur mission: To be the leading Executive Secretarial & Support recruitment consultancy in London, for employers and jobseekers alike.
