BI Developer - West London / Middlesex - circ £50,000 - £55,000 + benefitsBI Developer ( Business Intelligence Analyst Developer ) required for this fascinating, newly created opportunity to help further develop the business reporting requirements for our client, based in Middlesex, West London ( near Northolt, Perivale, Greenford ). Our client is a well-established and iconic business that is continuing to expand its sales both nationally and internationally. This is a position of ownership that will allow the post-holder to have a real impact across the business. Its a role that provides a firm platform for you to grow as you stretch your core database / OLAP / ETL / reporting skills to design, develop and maintain business information solutions.The BI Developer will be the main technical member of a small team working closely with a more business facing colleague to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications. The BI Developer will be extracting data from a variety of core business applications such as the main ERP system and therefore its essential you have strong ETL experience performing this kind of work in the past. The breadth of this BI Developer role makes it unique in this business and gives the successful postholder a real opportunity to implement their ideas and help shape how and what BI delivers to the organisation. To be considered for the post we would expect you to be able to demonstrate strong foundations as well as an interest in building your expertise in most of the following:* In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.* Knowledge of SQL queries, Stored procedures, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Server & PowerBI* Experience building data / reporting solutions / outputs from recognised Business / ERP / CRM systems ( Finance / Accounting / Manufacturing / Supply Chain) such as JD Edwards, Epicor, MS Dynamics, MS Axapta, Navision, Netsuite, SAP Business One ( B1), Infor Cloud or M3, IFS etc )* Experience working closely with the stakeholders, helping them to use data / business intelligence ( BI / MI ) to improve business decisions / outcomes* Previous experience working with manufacturing / Supply Chain or similar business culture would be usefulIn return, our Client is expecting to offer a salary in the region of £50,000 to £55,000 + good benefits and working conditions.For further information please send your CV to Wayne Hawthorne at Vadis People Services Ltd.
