Job Description

Cromwell Hospital in west London are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured and dynamic team. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseloadand further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.Main Duties for the Band 6 Occupational Therapist includes;

  • Complete functional assessments and contribute to the planning and implementation of rehabilitation programmes, which will enable the service user to remain in or return to their own home to optimum independence.
  • Plan, deliver, review and evaluate outcomes of occupational therapy practice with service users and carers
  • Maximise the extent to which service users take control of the Self Directed Support process, consistent with ensuring appropriate safeguards against risk.
  • Involve Carers in the assessment process to ensure that their needs are met as well as those of the service user.
  • Participate fully as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that common goals are met for both service users and the Team.
To Be Successful;
  • Previous experience in a medical and nursing background
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Manual handling experience
  • Experience in rehabilitation
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
