We place emphasis on providing a high-quality service to enable children and young people to reach their potential as effective and independent communicatorsJob descriptionPaediatric Band 5 Speech and Language TherapistSalary: £28,0000 - £32,000 FTE per annum including 11 weeks of paid holidaysFixed Term Contract - Term TimeSpectacular Speech Therapy is recruiting a Paediatric Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to work in school-based settings in Lambeth and Wandsworth. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months with possibility of extension. It is a Full Time Role (37.5 hours per week).This role will involve working in Mainstream Primary Schools as well as an ASD Resource Provision. You will be based at the same schools each week so there will be no traveling around within a school day. At each school you will conduct assessments of children with Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and offer therapy to children individually and in small groups. Due to the clinical nature of this work, the company is committed to investing in enhancing the skills of all members of the team and offering opportunities for continuous professional development.The company is committed to supporting new graduates through induction, mentoring and training from a Clinical Specialist. Weekly supervision will be provided by a Clinical Specialist to ensure strong clinical performance and professional development. There will be regular opportunities to complete in-house training as well as joining Clinical Excellence Networks and attending their Study Days.Start Date: July/August 2021 onwardWe can offer you:
