Do you want to work on disruptive fin-tech softwareDo you want to build large scale platforms with PythonIf so then this Backend Developer opportunity is one for you.This Backend Developer opportunity will have you working with a UK-based Fin-tech up whos technology is truly disrupting the financial space. They are currently helping with a number of platforms which helps smaller business get loans to help grow theirbusinesses.You will be working with Python predominantly within this Back end Developer opportunity. You will be building out a number of large scale and highly robust fin-tech platforms which will help smaller businesses achieve their goals. They run their Python-poweredsite on AWS, use asynchronous tools (Twisted, Celery) for time-consuming tasks and scientific libraries (numpy, scipy, pandas) for risk aspects. Application orchestration is done with Docker/Terraform/ECS and our monitoring is set up using DataDog/Sentry.In this role, youll have the opportunity to learn lots on the job and develop rapidly within a high performing team of engineersIdeally, youll have: * A high technical aptitude and strong attention to detail* Experience programming in Python / Django (but we will definitely consider graduates looking to kickstart their career) * Self-starter with ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environmentBenefits * Bright, modern office spaces in Covent Garden & Leeds.
