About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer... In this role, you will:

• The role is that of a lead engineer primarily responsible for the Axiom ControllerView application in the EMEA region. The candidate will be an expert in the Axiom ControllerView as well as having a strong understanding of EMEA Regulatory Reporting andAgile development methodologies.
• The position will form part of a UK based team working with the global technology team, based in the US, UK and India. Axiom is a new platform within Wells Fargo and as such, the successful candidate can expect to have the ability to influence the implementationand future state architecture of the application.
• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedentedtechnical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drivenew initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
• Design and development of the Axiom ControllerView Application, including requirements gathering, technical architecture and unit testing.
• Adoption and evolution of high-quality code development and deployment standards
• Help manage and communicate the Axiom ControllerView applications technology platform status, project pipeline and development priorities
• Assist with technical design documentation based on business functional and non-functional requirements, then work with other members of development teams to socialize and update design.
• Create and review development estimates from development teams with senior management and actively seek clarification and verification as appropriate
• Update and complete documentation, procedures, and user guides.
• Understand BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements and analyze changes for risk to the environment.

Required Qualifications, International:

• Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ Years Axiom development experience including experience on v10.x
• Familiarity with XBRL based reporting solutions (CoRep/FinRep etc.)
• Solid understanding of SQL, Stored Procedures and ETL technologies
• Unix/VB scripting

Job Expectations:

• Technology application management
• Experience implementing custom solutions in the Axiom platform
• Axiom scripting experience (ASL)
• Experience with modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Testing and SRE
• Autosys (JIL) scripting experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Understanding of relational databases management and data dictionary (interpreting attributes within a data model)
