Job Description

AWS DevOps Engineer - AWS, Docker, Kubernetes- AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, GIT - Healthcare and medical services industry- Salary circa £80,000 plus bonus, benefits and hybrid workingAWS DevOps Engineer required to join an innovative driven technology company providing quality and affordable healthcare to patients nationwide. Recently launched in the UK with products and services both online and instore and backed by large strategic andhealthcare investment this is an excellent time for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join the company.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and building scalable cloud based infrastructure on AWS in an enterprise environment. This is ideally suited to a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Engineer looking to play a key role in managingand deployment of applications used by thousands of patients and users.The successful AWS DevOps Engineer will be given the opportunity to make a real difference and will also be given the opportunity to enhance their skillset further. As well as very competitive salaries, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package andflexibility around hybrid working.Key Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the UK engineering infrastructure
  • Set and maintain technically excellent and secure operational production and non production environments
  • Be the primary source of infrastructure knowledge in the UK team
  • Provide support and assist with resolution of infrastructure issues
  • Be a source of technical expertise and mentorship
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties
  • Participate in bespoke system and environment designs and documentation
  • Monitoring of services, logs and auditing
  • Working with development in delivering CI/CD pipelines, and developer environments
  • Delivering and supporting the implementation of projects
  • Build strong relationships with their peers as well as their teams relevant business stakeholders both in UK and US teams
Key Skills
  • 5+ years experience in managing and building scalable cloud based infrastructure on AWS
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS Services, RDS, Aurora, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk
  • Awesome Linux experience
  • Understanding and implementation of AWS Security best practices and working knowledge
  • Experience in building infrastructure as code
  • Experience using Python in a DevOps capacity
  • Git
  • Be a team player
  • Demonstrate WIT (Whatever It Takes) attitude

This position is offered as a hybrid position however the successful candidate will be required to be able to attend my clients London office when requested.
