Thats unlucky, as youre not the people that we need for this Alliance Manager position.AWS is the #1 tier, and youll join a tech company who are right at the heart of Cloud Cost Optimisation.What team will you joinIts fair to say… not many companies do what they do.This tech start-up are winning new clients each month. Enterprise-level clients are signing up on long-term contracts, and it feels like NOW is the right time to drive up revenues.Youll join a cash-rich company with £millions in funding. Theyre profitable and growing at a sustainable pace, which reads well for the future.While it is a tech start-up, youre not working from someones garage (if you were allowed in of course). With employees in the UK and US, all the key teams are established, and youll join a company with an ambitious and collaborative culture.Its a rare platform that you can easily prove the ROI. In some instances, theyre reduced cloud costs by millions each year - which is why theyre getting such rave reviews.… So, what will your mission beYoull join as an Alliances Manager, where youre responsible for the AWS relationship.Its a tricky role. On one hand… youre pumping £millions of revenues into AWS. But as its a cloud cost optimisation platform… you could also be taking revenue away.This role is about relationship building. Keep pushing AWS technology and everyone is happy (well… apart from Microsoft and Google of course).Youll be responsible for generating more AWS revenue and ensuring that leads keep coming back from AWS.There is plenty of support to help you along the way. Operations, sales, marketing and product teams are in place to give you all that you need to be successful.Youll walk the corridors of AWS (with a mask on…) and be able to mix in with all key stakeholders. From time-to-time, youll get involved with enterprise deals and nurture big-ticket accounts.This role is based from the UK, with some of your time in London. It is a remote-based role but in reality, youll be in and around the M25 most weeks, without fail.… What do you need to get this jobAs their new Alliances Manager, youll need a few key attributes.

1. In-depth AWS knowledge
2. Expertise in an Alliances role
3. Understanding of AWS resale models
4. Comfortable at the enterprise end of the market

Building relationships and having a long-term strategic vision should be second nature to you.It will take a strong character to manage the AWS account. While youre giving them revenue, you will also be taking revenue away… and this takes a certain type of mindset.You need a dynamic mindset. Quick to react, efficient with your time, happy to crack on.In return, youll get a get salary of £75k, and a double OTE.
