Top 5 global bank - sitting across Capital Markets, Corporate Lending, Retail and Business BankDocklands, Canary Wharf located with solid hybrid home/office working policy in place (usually 2-3 days p wk on/off in office)DescriptionAVP Group Regulatory Reporting Manager - top 5 global bankDocklands, Canary Wharf located with solid hybrid home/office working policy in place (usually 2-3 days p wk on/off in office)THE TEAM:

  • Performing consolidation and conducting final reviews of all group level reporting (regulatory, financial and statutory)
  • Driving process improvements to enhance the robustness and efficiency of the regulatory reporting process
  • Acting as a Finance SME for key regulatory reporting judgments, change programmes and issues at the group level
PURPOSE:The regulatory Reporting team contributes to a number of external reporting disclosures including the preparation of financial regulatory disclosures included within the Annual Report, COREP and Pillar 3. This involves supporting the design and implementationof governance requirements as well as establishing themselves as an SME and managing stakeholder relationships with internal stakeholders.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the calculation of regulatory key metrics and production of financial regulatory disclosures
  • Ensure the reporting cycle runs to timetable in order to meet internal and external deliverables
  • Review and challenge of data inputs and outputs ensuring that financial regulatory information is prepared and disclosed in a consistent manner across all legal entities
  • Provide best practise leadership with regards to governance activities supporting the financial regulatory disclosures
  • Provide guidance and review to support the financial regulatory reporting deliverables
  • Support new regulatory reporting requirements by providing expert knowledge and leading on the implementation into BAU
ProfileAVP Group Regulatory Reporting Manager - top 5 global bank
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Qualified accountant with regulatory reporting technical knowledge [e.g. CR 2: Basel III, corep, crd iv, rwas]
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and investigate complex issues
  • The initiative and curiosity to challenge current processes and develop effective alternative solutions
  • A high level of commitment and enthusiasm
  • Strong control awareness including understanding the key controls required in an investment bank
Job Offer
  • Base £55,000 to £80,000
