Job Description

About the Role: The AV Project Manager will be based in the South of England and will be visiting client sites to manage installation projects. Site meetings and End User liaison/ managing installation resource/understanding and assisting with AV designbased on Client brief. Majority of Client site are in London but must be willing to travel throughout the UK.Key Duties:

  • Managing and coordinating - 1st fix works - installing containment, cable pull and structural fixings etc.
  • Managing and coordinating - 2nd fix install of equipment, patching and configuration - Handover checks & assist with commissioning
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the install team to achieve deadlines together and of consistent quality
  • Interpret and follow technical and construction drawings
  • Preparing equipment and other parts for the next installation
  • Work in venues around the UK, potentially spending multiple days away as the work dictates
  • Follow and maintain housekeeping standards onsite, producing RAMS tailored for purpose.
  • Assist in improving efficiency and project delivery by ensuring processes and good working practices are maintained
  • Attend team briefings and be proactive in providing ideas and suggestions
  • Report progress via lead engineers to Perception as well as end user/client/ fitout firm.
  • Providing feedback and support to engineering team following completion of an installation, including help with commissioning, or snagging
  • Attend third-party training as appropriate for the role, as required
  • A Technical Audio-Visual backgrounds
  • Preferably, experience in AV design, project management, CAD etc.
  • Experience working with a project management software - preferred
  • A problem solver with fault fixing and repair experience
  • Happy to work alone, but flexible to work with the wider team
  • Demonstrable customer service experience - essential
  • Enthusiastic and positive, can-do attitude
