Taylor Hawkes are working closely with a Top 10 global consultancy firm, with offices based in Jersey, within the Channel Islands, who are seeking an Audit Senior for their renowned audit & assurance team. The role will work with mixture of clients acrossindustries including: Financial Services, hospitality & leisure, manufacturing, and agriculture.The firm are one of the worlds largest networks of audit, tax, and consultancy firms with over 150 Partners based in the UK. They have won numerous awards including Network of the Year, Corporate Advice Firm of the Year, Best Companies to Work for and AuditAdvisory Firm of the Year.Situated between the south coast of England and northern France, the Channel Islands are the most southerly islands in the British Isles and is widely accepted as an offshore finance centre, on par with the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. The islands are ashort 45-minute flight to London and offer serene living conditions. There are many audit professionals working in Guernsey and jersey working for larger Big 4, Top 10, medium sized and boutique accounting practices.Working in the Channel Islands will provide you with world class exposure to international clients. FS experience is not required as UK relocators are very much sought after and full training will be provided to ensure that you are cable of handling thenuances of an offshore FS client base. Audit clients range from multinational groups to smaller entities where, whilst still reporting under UK GAAP, you will gain wide exposure to a range of innovative accounting methods International Financial ReportingStandards.The role will undertake the following duties: Working on a diverse portfolio of clients including LLPs, partnerships, sole traders, and SMEs. Acting as on-site Senior; planning, executing, and completing Audit work to the required standard. Taking responsibility for each Audit assignment, completing within agreed timescale with the support of the Manager/Partner. Preparing accounts from client records. Preparing management accounts on occasion. Preparing draft tax computations.
