SKS Business Services are delighted to announce that we are looking for an Audit Junior to join our team. SKS have 24 offices across the UK that specialise in accounting, audit, business advice, tax and business rescue. SKS Business Services are a top45 accountancy firm.Role responsibilities for the Audit Junior: Providing accurate accounting and assurance services to a diverse range of clients, as directed by the Manager, in accordance with firm procedures Assisting with accounts preparation for Limitedcompanies, Sole traders and Partnerships Analysing data to form the basis of the accounts Assist with client queries Assisting with Audit assignments Completing assigned audit areas to a high standard as directed by senior members of staff Communicating auditissues to Clients or Managers promptly and efficiently Work closely with Management to assist in developing ongoing effective relationships with clients, ensuring the retention of business Ensure all jobs are completed within specific budgets, keeping Managerinformed at all times of progress of job Maintain client confidentiality at all times Ad-hoc duties as and when is required, including assisting senior colleaguesRequirements for the Audit Junior: 1-2 years previous practice experience in a similar role Ideallyhold a relevant degree in accountancy, economics or similar subject and/or studying towards an accountancy qualification Ample experience preparing year-end accounts Prior experience in PAYE reporting, statutory accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, reconciliationsAudit experience advantageous Competent using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook Proficiency using IRIS, Caseware Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise work Excellent work ethics and eagerness to learn Exceptionalinterpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at different levels Great attention to detail and organisational skills Have an organised approach to your work and ideally have experience in working to strict deadlines Organised and commerciallyminded, displaying level of flexibility, professionalism and confidence
