Why Audit at Grant Thornton Our UK audit practice is built of over 2300 people working across 24 locations, led by Fiona Baldwin and supported by 50 audit partners. Our tailored and responsive approach provides the expertise our clients need, enablingthem to grow and make the right decisions about their future.Our Overseas Delivery team is set up with the Audit RI’s and managers based in the UK, to work alongside a dedicated team of in-charges and associates based in India and Philippines. Our team works with fast growth, dynamic businesses, with clients rangingfrom entrepreneurial, early-stage SMEs through to well-known brands. With this team you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting companies, and we’ll make sure you have the time, and support, to build long-lasting relationships with clientsensuring we can support their businesses as they grow.The nature of the model also gives the opportunity and flexibility on location for the role, with the ability to primarily work remotely if preferred, with minimal core travel required for any in-person client meetings. You would also have the opportunity forinternational travel to meet your team face to face.Given the remote nature of the role, we are very open to applications from those who may have had career breaks and would like to return to a busy but flexible auditing role.The things you do, and the people you’re with outside of work matter, that’s why we’re happy to look at flexible working options for all our roles, whether that’s reduced or condensed hours, job shares, we’ll always do our best to keep your work and life inbalance. Our framework for how we work underpins our approach, giving us all theconfidence to make decisions that work for us, and our teams.A look into the role As an Audit RI within our overseas models, you will:

  • Be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients, ensuring that all work allocated is carried out profitably, efficiently and to the highest level of quality.
  • Be responsible for overseeing and developing your team to the highest standard
  • Experience of signing audit opinions of UK clients
  • Develop the client base and lead on client pitches
  • Project manage client work, ensuring we deliver the right quality to the relevant timescales
  • Build and maintain strong working relationship with your team and our clients
  • Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects
  • Constantly strive to push yourself, and the business, further, knowing you’re supported through every stage
