A 6 months+ opportunity for an Audio video technician has arisen with the local authorities in Wembley.The Audio Visual Technician will support the Audio Visual Manager in the delivery of all Audio Visual services at Brent Civic Centre (including The Drum at Wembley, our Conference & Events operation) and other sites throughout the borough.This involves a mixture of live events (in-person, remote and hybrid) of varying scale and background - Council functions, formal meetings, campaigns and commemorations, conferences and corporate functions, weddings.Theres also a responsibility for provision of meeting room support to the busy Civic Centre (c.1600 staff, 80-90 rooms), periodic maintenance and reactive repair.This position will have rostered hours on a pre-arranged rota, which will include the need for evening and weekend work on an as and when required basis, with opportunities for overtime available.Skills and Experience:Relevant Audio Visual qualifications.proven experience of working operationally as an av technician in the conference and events industry - preferably within conference and events venue environment or with an av supplier who works with event venues.strong and demonstrable knowledge of sound, lighting, video and it systems including (But not limited to) crestron, public-I webcasting, avolites tiger touch, yamaha ls9, sennheiser ew100 and it systems.To apply please send your CV or email for more information.121 Jobs is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
