Job Description

Our client is a frontrunner in the live event production industry. Our specialty lies in creating unforgettable experiences for clients using innovative audio-visual solutions. Our diverse team of passionate professionals is committed to delivering exceptionalevents of varying scales and formats. Currently, we are looking to appoint a dedicated Sustainability Manager to spearhead our environmental initiatives and ensure that our operations align with sustainable standards.Your Role:As our Sustainability Manager, you will be our in-house champion for green initiatives. Your main task will be to devise, manage, and execute our sustainability strategy to ensure our business operations are environmentally friendly, economically viable,and socially responsible. This part-time role gives you the opportunity to make a significant impact while offering flexibility.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor our sustainability plan, coordinating with internal working groups to ensure alignment with our overarching strategy.
  • Develop a detailed roadmap to achieve our Net Zero target, implementing initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Manage relationships with key industry partners and bodies, such as ISLA.
  • Support the companys ambition to achieve B-Corp certification, coordinating the delivery of key sustainability commitments like recycling, CO2 emissions, material usage, and supply chain management.
  • Provide sustainability advice, information, and support to commercial and project delivery teams, ensuring theyre informed about the latest developments.
  • Develop client-facing materials and policies that support both our commercial and sustainability strategies.
  • Participate in marketing forums and external events, promoting our sustainability initiatives and representing our client in various forums.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in climate change, energy, and carbon-related work.
  • Technical knowledge of GHG accounting, calculation, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Net Zero, science-based targets, Scope 1, 2 and 3 de-carbonisation strategies, offsetting, and removals.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a drive to bring everyone on this journey.
  • Project management skills with a track record of successfully implementing sustainability projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable business practices and principles.
  • Highly organised, with strategic planning and effective task prioritization skills.
