Associate Director - Credit Risk

Details of the Role:

Lead the day to day credit analysis of new transactions and oversee a consistent approach to assessing transactions across the secure income business including; long income property, property lending and renewables
Responsible for ensuring the continued financial and credit reviews of existing exposures including attending tenant and / or borrower meetings
Responsible for ensuring regular reviews of existing sector exposures and leading research initiatives into new sectors
Lead on internal credit committees for tenant, borrower and sector exposures for new transactions and monitoring updates
Working with capital raising team to support the development of relationships with investors and their advisers as a subject matter expert

Candidate Requirments:

Experienced credit background with a good understanding of sub investment grade covenants and structured finance
Ideally experience of illiquid / real estate long income transactions
Previous experience of overseeing a team of analysts and associates
Knowledge of real estate or the DB pensions industry or insurance industry would be beneficial but is not essential
